🌟 The Opportunity
Join us, and contribute to the development of new features on the Hivebrite product, working within a cross-functional squad (Product, Design, Back-end, QA). The role involves proactively contributing to technical, design and product discussions on a daily basis, with the ability to handle complex topics in a fast-paced delivery environment.

As a Front End Engineer, your work will directly support these communities by making their digital spaces better, smarter, and more impactful.
🌟 Your Role
As a member of the Discoverability Squad:
Product Development
Develop and maintain front-end features on the Live Feed, Search, and content discovery modules, including the frontend layer of AI-driven experiences: ranked feeds, contextual suggestions, and relevance signals
Work closely with the Product Manager, Designer, and Backend Developers within the squad
Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, code reviews, retrospectives)
Quality & Standards
Follow and contribute to Frontend Guidelines (component structure, hooks, testing)
Write unit tests (Jest, React Testing Library) and contribute to E2E coverage
Participate in code reviews that are collaborative by design, AI-assisted, and focused on long-term maintainability rather than gatekeeping
Technical Contribution
Actively shape front-end architecture decisions (migration sequencing, state management patterns, library adoption) with engineers in the room, not handed down
Contribute to the shared Design System (styled-components, Storybook)
Drive continuous improvement of front-end practices (ESLint, Prettier, TypeScript, etc.)
Use AI tooling as a native part of your daily workflow, as the rest of the team already does
Product & Design Collaboration
Participate in product discoveries (FOCUSED Discovery) to challenge specs from a technical feasibility standpoint
Propose UX/UI improvements in collaboration with designers

Required Technical Skills
4+ years of experience in a similar position
React (advanced proficiency, hooks, state management)
TypeScript
Styled Components
TailwindCSS
Next.js (a plus, migrations currently in progress within the team)
Testing: Jest, React Testing Library
Git / GitHub, CI/CD
Nice to Have
Storybook
ESLint / Prettier
React Native (for interaction with the Mobile squad)
Familiarity with design systems and atomic design principles
Soft Skills
Ability to work autonomously within a cross-functional agile squad
Product mindset and attention to UI/UX detail
Collaborative spirit and knowledge sharing
Comfortable working with large existing codebases (monolith + React SPA)
